Debuting
on Jan. 16, 1995 Irava(voice of Iran) began broadcasting as
Ottawa-Gatineau's first Farsi radio program. Irava launched its English
segment in 2006 to better serve its non-Farsi speaking audience. Irava,
would like to thank all freedom loving and loyal listeners who have
supported this radio program all these years. Let's hope for the fall of
dictatorship in Iran soon with a new experience where independent and
free radio shows/stations can blossom in a complete democratic
atmosphere. Thank you
