Jan. 16 marks the 22nd anniversary of the foundation of Radio Irava. On Jan. 16, 1995 Radio Irava went on the air as Ottawa-Gatineau's first Farsi Radio program and since 2005 Radio Irava has been serving the Iranian and
 Canadian community as the only Farsi/Eng radio program in this region.
