Iran’s nationwide uprising marked its 185th day on Sunday March 19. The uprising has spread in 282 cities across Iran with 750 people dead and 30,000 detainees. The names and identities of 664 people killed by the regime have been announced by the Iranian opposition PMOI/MEK, People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. Charsahbe soori or the last Wednesday of the Iranian Calendar year was proof that the Iran Revolution has not stopped and it will continue until the regime is toppled.

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on Thursday, March 16, denouncing the atrocious attempt to silence women and girls in Iran in the strongest terms. The European Parliament resolution also expressed deep solidarity with the poisoned students and their families. Former political prisoner Zeinab Hamrang Seyyed Beglu was arrested by security forces on Sunday, March 12, as she was leaving home. The agents took her to an unknown location. Zeinab was released in October before the completion of her sentence. She's 46yerar old and a retired teacher from Ardabil who resides in Tehran. She was arrested in Khoy in September 2020 while traveling to West Azerbaijan. On September 6, 2020, she was transferred to the women’s ward of Evin Prison. https://tinyurl.com/2dvdbzcz

Branch 36 of the Revision Court of Tehran Province sentenced Sarvnaz Ahamdi to 3 years and six months in jail for “assembly and collusion to disrupt national security.” Sarvnaz was arrested with her husband on November 6, 2022, during the nationwide protests. The preliminary trial examining her charges was held at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran. Sarvnaz Ahmadi was sentenced to 5 years for “assembly and collusion to disrupt national security” and one year for “propaganda against the state,” six years of imprisonment in total. 

The 1st Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Shahriar sentenced Tahereh Bejervani to one year and six months in prison. Tahereh is the widow of Ali Fotouhi, one of the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising. She is presently detained in Evin Prison and charged with "Insulting the Iranian regime's leader".

Elham Afkari the sister of the National champion, Navid Afkari, was released on Sunday, March 12, from Adelabad Prison of Shiraz. She will serve her five-year sentence under house arrest with an electronic leg tag on her ankle. https://tinyurl.com/2p3zwdd2
