The Iranian regime has carried out the executions of at least 19 prisoners including 2 juveniles and one woman between Monday and Thursday May 12-15 in different prisons. In the early hours of Wednesday, May 7, a female prisoner named Mahtab Amiri was executed at the Central Prison of Shiraz-Iran, AKA Adelabad Prison. She was arrested about 3 years ago on a charges of murder. https://tinyurl.com/2xy8peuj Another woman was executed in Centeral prison of Gorgan in Iran on Monday May 12. The Iranian regime continues to deny sick political prisoners proper medical care, refusing both hospital transfers and medical leave, deliberately. The NCRI Women’s Committee has called on the UN Human Rights Council, the High Commissioner, the Special Rapporteur, and other human rights bodies—including the European Union and its member states to take urgent action to release ailing political prisoners immediately. 3 female politcal prisoners are mentioned by the Women's comittee of the NCRI as an example. Maryam Akabari Monfared who has spent the last 15 years in prison without a single day of leave. She suffers from severe spinal and disc damage. She faces the threat of paralysis and urgently needs specialized treatment.
