Parisa Kamali, a political prisoner held in the women’s ward of Yazd Prison in Iran, has been on a medication and hunger strike since November 24, in protest against the authorities’ failure to address her legal demands and the reported “disappearance” of her case file. She was arrested on April 30, 2024, in Isfahan and sentenced to six years in prison on charges of “propaganda against the state,” “destruction of public property,” and “membership in the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK).” After she accepted the verdict under the “satisfaction with the ruling” procedure, her sentence was reduced to three and a half years. https://tinyurl.com/4wkfd5en

More than four months have passed since the arrest and enforced disappearance of Yalda Emamdoust, a long-distance running champion and former political prisoner in Isfahan-Iran. Yet no official institution has provided any information regarding her location, physical condition, or legal status.
