The Iranian regime executed the first prisoner of Uprising. Mohsen Shekari was 23 years old. His execution has brought condemnations form many countries in the west. Mrs Maryam Rajavi the President elect of the Iranian resistance tweeted: Imprisoned protester, #Mohsen_Shekari, 23, was executed on Khamenei’s order, showing the regime’s fear in the face of #IranRevolution and the prospect of being overthrown. This vicious crime will fuel people’s anger. Courageous youths and protesters will not remain silent. I urge the @UN, EU, member states & human rights defenders to strongly condemn the execution of the 23-year-old Mohsen Shekari and take effective and practical measures against religious fascism ruling Iran to #StopExecutionsInIran. Silence, inaction trample human rights values, she added. Mrs Rajavai called for the closure of the Iranian regime's embassies and the IRGC(Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp) and MOIS (Ministry of Intelligence and security( against to be expelled.
