Month of November in Iran, was the bloodiest month in 37 years, with 335 executions, including seven women, and two public hangings. At least 44 people were executed in Iran in the first three days of December. However, the 97th week of the No to Executions Tuesday campaign took place in 55 prisons in Iran, and families of prisoners under execution also held protest rallies in Iran.

The Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran strongly condemned the death sentence against Goli Koohkan, a 25-year-old mother who has been imprisoned since she was 18 and called for immediate action to prevent her execution in its Dec. 3rd statement. It adds: Goli Koohkan, one of the deprived Baluchi girls, was forced into marriage at the age of 12 and gave birth to a son at 13. She was sentenced to death by the regime’s judiciary for a family dispute that resulted in her husband’s death. The hunger strike of political prisoner Parisa Kamali Ardakani, currently held in Yazd Prison, has entered its eighth day, heightening concerns about her deteriorating health.

Fatemeh Ziaii, a prominent political prisoner, is facing a critically deteriorating physical condition inside Tehran’s Evin Prison. According to sources close to her family, the continued detention of Ms. Ziaii without access to specialized medical care now poses a serious threat to her life. Before being transferred to Evin Prison, Fatemeh Ziaii was held for 40 days in the NOPO detention facility, a period that passed without even minimum medical attention.
