The Iranian regime executed 3 Kurdish political prisoners Ramin Hossein Panahi 24, Zanya Moradi 30 and his cousin Loghman Moradi 32 on Sat. Sept 8 despite international calls to stop their executions, on the 40th anniversary of the Black Friday of Jaleh Square massacre in Iran in 1978 in Shah’s era. The executions of these 3 activists has been faced with international condemnations from Amnesty International, Agnès Callamard, the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights., Ahmad Shaheed, Religious Freedom Expert at the UN and Dr. Valid Fares, adviser to the US President Donald Trump to name a few. They called for the Iranian regime to be hold accountable.
