The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Aug. 2 that the number of Coronavirus victims in 347 cities of Iran has reached Over 81,400. While the regime’s own officials are acknowledging an increasing number of Covid-19 deaths each day, regime's President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that: “Earlier this year despite the Covid-19 outbreak the enemy was interested in the war among our different factions and various differences,”. He added: “To those who want to cancel the upcoming religious mourning rituals, they should know that these gatherings will not be cancelled. To those who want to undermine these mourning ceremonies by claiming such gatherings will escalate the illness wave, they will not be allowed to do so.” He's also wants to hold the Entrance Exam for universities in Iran. The regime's officials have warned Rouhani of the consequences of such gatherings during Covid-19 pandemic but he won't hear of it. Unfortunately, the perpetrators of this phenomenon are not dealt with decisively and there is a greater tendency to deny it.” (The state-run BORNA news agency – August 6, 2018). On June 20, 2019, the U.S. Department of State released its annual “Trafficking in Persons Report,” which once again designated Iran a Tier 3 country, the lowest ranking possible.
