Over 178,100 people have died of the Covid-19 in 465 cities across all of Iran, according to daily reports by the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as of Sunday December 6.

As one of the most important terrorism cases of the century involving an Iranian diplomat unfolds in Antwerp, Belgium, 240 lawmakers from 19 European countries are calling on their governments to take a firm stance on the Iranian regime’s terrorism and rights abuses, according to PMOI People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. In a statement issued on Tuesday Dec. 1, the International Committee of Parliamentarians for a Democratic Iran and the British Committee for Iran Freedom (BCFIF) warned against “the Iranian regime’s terrorist acts in Europe.” The signatories of the statement drew attention to the case of Assadollah Assadi, a Vienna-based Iranian diplomat who is standing trial in Belgium along with his three accomplices for a failed bombing attempt against the annual rally of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in the summer of 2018. “In addition to tens of thousands of Iranians, the opposition leader Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the primary target of the conspiracy, was present at the rally, along with several hundred political figures from various countries, including Canada. Had this terrorist operation succeeded, it would have undoubtedly left hundreds killed and many more wounded,” the signatories of the statement wrote. On Thursday Dec. 3rd during the 2nd court session, Assadi did not attend again. Nassimeh Naami and her husband Amir Saaduni and the third person Mehrdad Arefani along with Iranian regime's diplomat are not only 4 people on trial, as the entirety of the Iranian regime is on trial for a terrorist act.

According to the quarterly report of the National Statics Center of Iran (NSC) Nov. 30, more than 7,000 girls under 14 years of age have got married in Iran from April to June 2020. The number published by the NCS on the number of young women married between 10 and 14 years of age was exactly 7323. During the same period, the marriage of one girl under 10 years has also been registered. The National Statics Center of Iran also announced that some 130,000 marriages of children under 14 years of age had been registered between 2016 to 2019. This, amounts to 43,300 under-14 marriages per year.

Physical and psychological damages caused by child marriages in Iran have many irreparable adverse consequences on the lives of young women, particularly those who get pregnant under 18 years of age. These damages include fatality of mothers, depression and even suicides, divorces, leaving school, and will eventually lead to the stability of the cycle of cultural and economic poverty. https://tinyurl.com/yxl4tzyf

A Renowned human rights activist died in Iran on Wed. Dec. 2. Dr. Mohammad Maleki was the first dean of the University of Tehran, after Iran's 1979 revolution. He spoke out against the regime and was under a lot of pressures because of it. He was even banned from traveling abroad  . Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the Iranian resistacne send out a message of condolence which reads: I offer my condolences on the passing of Dr. Mohammad Maleki and condemn the Iranian regime’s tortures against him in prison and outside prison. Remarks by Dr. Maleki during the burial of one of People’s Mojahedin mothers, Mehri Janatpour (mother Daei), in which he valiantly condemned the regime’s barbaric assaults on the PMOI in Camp Ashraf and supported their struggle, showed his courage in crossing the ruling regime’s first and most important redline. It was truly enduring and unforgettable. The Iranian people will never forget the torture, mistreatment and inhuman conduct of the clerical regime vis-à-vis this great scholar. The amnesty International also in its message condoled the Amnesty's family and the human rights activists in Iran.
