Iranian teachers held their protest gatherings in more than 100 cities across the country on Saturday, February 19, 2022, despite massive control by security forces. Prison guards transferred the infected women to the quarantine ward, which is very small, dirty, and cold. Incited by Ilam Prison authorities, some prisoners convicted of violent crimes in the Prison of Ilam, western Iran, beat political prisoner Khadijeh Mehdipour. On February 10, three female prisoners convicted of violent crimes assulted and attacked political prisoner Khadijeh Mehdipour. As a result she was injured in the eye.
