A large group of Iranian women and girls were attacked and sprayed with pepper gas instead of being allowed into the stadium to watch a football match on Wed. March 29th. The misogynistic clerical regime prevented them from entering the Imam Reza Stadium in Mashhad. The women had legally purchased tickets to watch the football match between the national teams of Iran and Lebanon. The Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) strongly condemned the mullahs’ regime for barring women and girls from entering the Imam Reza Stadium in Mashhad and attacking them with pepper gas. Under FIFA and AFC rules, sports officials have no right to prevent women from entering the stadium. https://tinyurl.com/mrynjx66

The Iranian regime’s security services ordered the illegal detention of Khadijeh Seifpanahi and her son Khaled at home. The illegal detention of the elderly mother and son started on March 9, 2022. Mrs. Khadijeh Seifpanahi has been illegally detained because she took an active part in last year’s Nowruz celebrations in Sanandaj. While holding a red rose, she called on the Kurdish parties to stand in solidarity to fight against the regime. Her action was warmly supported by the participants. For this reason, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) issued a circular banning the use of red roses in the Nowruz ceremony, this year. https://tinyurl.com/2p9ymra3
