The Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence forces threatened Kurdish political prisoner Golaleh Moradi with “burning her children with fire” in front of her if she did not confess. The body of a woman was found in the paddy fields of Amol after 20 days. Safdar Eslami, Commander of the State Security Force of Amol, confirmed the news of discovering the body of a woman in the village of Hosseinabad and stated that the body belonged to a woman around 30 years old. Islami added, “The woman had been murdered some 20 days ago by one of her relatives and buried in the paddy fields of Hosseinabad village.” https://tinyurl.com/yfwp53nv

Members of the Voice of Iranian Women Association, Nahid Shaqaqi, Akram Nasirian, Maryam Mohammadi, and Esrin Derkaleh, were called to serve time by the Prosecutor’s Office of Evin Prison. In an article, the mother of one of the November 2019 Iran protests victims announced that the Iranian security services had threatened her and her family. Mahboubeh Ramezani seeks justice for her son, Pejman Qolipour, who was shot five times at close range on November 17, 2019. Mahboubeh Ramezani explained in her article: “After several times that (the security services) called my husband and I but we did not respond, they called my son. They told him to be careful. ‘If your family continues to do what they are doing, worse incidents will be awaiting them.’ My son told them, ‘My parents seek justice for their son.’ (The security services) replied, ‘Their son was an offender, and we killed him! Tell your parents to come here, or we will come and transfer them to jail.” Reacting to the threats, Mahboubeh Ramezani reiterated, “The chests of all the families (of the victims of the November 2019 uprising) are ready for your bullets. Political prisoner Fatemeh Mosanna was returned to Evin Prison in Iran on April 3, upon Amin Vaziri’s summon and order. Her transfer to Evin Prison occurred while she was in critical health conditions. Amin Vaziri is the deputy prosecutor in Evin prison, overseeing the cases of political prisoners. Fatemeh Mosanna, 53, has been suffering from an intestinal infection, making her incapable of tolerating prison condition.
