On Wed Aug. 10, Mehrzad Zarei began his #MarchForJustice from Toronto to the Canadian parliament. He'll be in Ottawa on Aug. 25. He is protesting Justin Trudeau appeasing the Iranian regime. Mehrzad's only child Arad was among those killed by IRGC Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps 30months ago on board of PS752. Arad was 17 years old.

Salman Rushdie was knifed down on Friday Aug. 12 in New York State by a man that according to New York Post has ties to the Iranian regime. In the 1980s Khomeini the founder of Islamic Republic in Iran, ordered a religious decree or Fatwa for Salman Rushdie's head after the publication of his book "Satanic Verses". In 2019 Khomeini's successor Khamenei, confirmed the Fatwa. Khamenei said: During that time, I had a trip to one or two European countries; I stood firmly and said: Imam(Khomeini) has fired an arrow and this arrow goes on. He has aimed well and it will not fall until it hits the target".

A prisoner named Sahar F. was tied to the bed in the dispensary of Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad-Iran for 24 hours, along with her 12 year old daughter, Tina Gh. Their hands and feet were cuffed to the bed. Human rights networks say Sahar and Tina were tied to the bed for arguing with agents of the women’s ward of Vakilabad Prison (the Central Prison of Mashhad) on Wednesday, August 3. On the order of prison authorities, they were tied to the bed for 24 hours as punishment. Evin authorities have demanded to see the birth certificate of Zahra Safaei’s husband to prove that she is her son’s mother to grant them family visits in Evin prison. The authorities of Evin Prison are trying to ramp up pressure on political prisoner Zahra Safaei and her two children, Parastoo and Masoud Moini both in prison. In response to Zahra Safaei’s request to have family visits with her son, Evin authorities have demanded to see her husband’s birth certificate, an informed source reported. “They want to verify their identities and determine whether they are from the same family.” https://tinyurl.com/mpw24mjx

The state-run Hamshahri newspaper wrote on August 1, that a woman and two men would be blinded. According to Hamshahri, the Sharia judges of the Supreme Court approved the retribution sentence(Qesas) for a young woman from one of the cities of Kermanshah province in Iran. Since it is impossible to carry out the sentence in Kermanshah, the third branch of the Implementation of Verdicts Unit of Tehran’s Criminal Prosecutor’s Office will do it. This is not the first time the regime has issued inhuman sentences.
