On Saturday night, October 15, at 21:50 local time, a massive explosion was heard from Evin prison in Tehran, where many of those arrested during the uprising are held. At 22:41, two more big explosions were heard from Evin prison. Simultaneously, the sound of gunfire could be heard from the prison area, and flames and smoke engulfed the prison. For a long time, the sound of the volley of bullets and the continuous explosions of grenades could be heard. A number of prisoners were seen on the roofs of Evin prison. Prison guards unleashed the dogs inside the prison to attack the prisoners. The Special Force known as NOPO (Supreme Leader’s Special Security Force) stormed Evin Prison. In a fake scenario, the regime’s Judiciary claimed that there was a scuffle between the prisoners and that the tailoring workshop had caught fire. Suppressive forces fired tear gas at the people who had gathered near Evin prison. On Friday Oct. 14, protests were reported in at least 19 cities across Iran with people chanting slogans of “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to the dictator”, and youth throwing Molotov cocktail and setting fire to posters and properties that symbolize the state.‌ These include the cities of Tehran, Karaj, Ilam, Fouladshahr, Shahinshahr, Arak, Baneh, Qom, Yazd, Quds city, Ahvaz, Bukan, Mashhad, Abhar, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Marivan, Saqqez, and Mirjaveh. Protests in more than 190 cities across with 400 killed, 26 of whom children, and 20,000 arrested has been recorded by the Iranian Opposition PMOI/MEK.

Plainclothes agents attacked Shahed High School in Ardabil-Iran on Wednesday, October 12, arrested seven students and injured ten more. The injured teenagers were taken to the Fatemi Hospital; however, one of the girls lost her life due to internal bleeding. The Coordination Council of Teachers has confirmed this report. The council said the school’s principal, Ozra Fatehi, had collaborated with the intelligence services. In another news Agents of the Intelligence Ministry arrested the principal of a all girls school in Karaj-Iran, for refusing to hand in and erasing their CCTV recordings to protect her students who had held protest at school. The principal, Ms. Oghabneshin, was arrested at work and transferred to an undisclosed location on Tuesday, October 11.

Security services reportedly transferred political prisoner Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee from Qarchak Prison to an unknown location on Monday, October 10. Agents said they were taking her to the detention center of the Intelligence Police in Tehran. Agents of the intelligence services broke into Ms. Iraee’s residence on September 26, 2022, kicked her in the stomach and threw her to the cabinet in her room. They ransacked the house and confiscated some of her belongings as well. Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee was feeling pain in the back and abdomen when she briefly called home on October 2. At the time, she had not yet been arraigned of her charges. Later, it was reported that she was charged with “assembly and collusion, as well as propaganda against the state” through her activities in her social media accounts. Golrokh was originally arrested in 2016 for an unpublished story about stoning in Iran.
