Maryam Abbassi Nikou, a 44-year-old resident of Shahin Shahr in Isfahan Province in Iran, was once again arrested on Monday, November 10, by intelligence agents of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and was taken to an undisclosed location. Her daughter Bita Shafii, who was also arrested and tortured in 2022 for protesting the regime's Organized chemical attacks on girl's school across the country wrote on her instagram acc: “IRGC intelligence agents stormed our house, abducted my mother, and refuse to provide any information about where she is being held.”

On Tuesday night November 11, Sahar Shahbazian (Tannaz), a 26-year-old female prisoner held in Fardis Prison, Karaj, died under suspicious circumstances. The Prison authorities have claimed that she died from an overdose while informed sources say the real cause of death was cardiac arrest resulting from delays in her transfer to the hospital. She was initialty arrested in charges of murder and eventhoug during her judicial process, it became evident that she was innocent, she remaind in custody.

Zahra Tabari, a 67 year old political prisoner on death row, in Lakan prison in Rasht-Iran, has sent out an English audio message to the world. In this recording she says: “Dear friends, this is a voice calling for justice and freedom. They sentenced me to death penalty just by a single word called Baghi. I rely on you as a jury member of my trial in Worldwide court hall. To me, it’s not a matter of saving lives of an individual but saving lives of many others. Neil Armstrong sent us a message far, far away from the earth. A small step for a man, a giant move for mankind. Now I could tell just a small step for saving a life, carry us to a movement in order to condemn human rights violence in in this corner of the world. So please raise your voice for justice and freedom on behalf of us.”
