Thousands of Iranians took to the streets of various cities to commemorate martyrs of Iran uprising on the 40th day of their martyrdom, marking the 49th day of Iran uprising on Thursday, November 3rd. Karaj, west of Tehran- the capital, was a hotbed of protests. Thousands of youths walked to Behesht-e Sakineh cemetery where Hadis Najafi, Sarina Esmailzadeh, Ruzbeh Khademian and Reza Parsadoust are resting in peace. https://tinyurl.com/8wnsp6dk

A woman was hanged in the Prison of Borujerd on Thursday, October 27. The unidentified woman was charged with deliberate murder of her husband. She is 202nd execution of women in Iran since 2007. The Iranian regime executes an average of 15 women per year, however, the annual number of women executed has risen since Ebrahim Raisi took office in August 2021. The Iranian regime is the world’s top record holder of executions. The Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran has compiled the names of these women in a list. The NCRI Women’s Committee previously mentioned that many of the women executed by the Iranian regime are themselves victims of domestic violence against women and have acted in self-defense. https://tinyurl.com/jkr7cdjj
