A viral video clip of Roya Zakeri shows her sitting on the ground in the middle of the street and cries out slogans like Down with Khamenei and Down with Dictator. She was pushed down by regime's forces when attempting to buy pastry without her hejab. While she was shouting the security forces beat her again so viciously that she went unconscious, then they took Roya by ambulance to the Razi Psychiatry hospital. Roya Zakeri is single, 31 years old, and has a Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences and resides in Tabriz-Iran. She was on hunger strike during Iran's uprising 2022 when in custody. The Iranian National Statistics Center (NSC) announced that 25,900 girls and 15 boys under 15 years of age got married in Iran during the Persian year 1401 (from March 2022 to March 2023). The semi-official daily, Hammihan reported on October 19, 2023, that during the same period, 1,392 infants were born from mothers under 15 years old, and six from fathers under 15 years. This data is 64,632 for mothers and 3,282 for fathers in the 15-19 years range. The NSC also registered 779 divorces for under-15 girls and 71 cases for girls between 15 and 19. According to these statistics, an average of 135,000 marriages of girls under the age of 18 are registered in Iran every year, of which about 1,700 are related to girls under the age of 13. A Revolutionary Guard shot her sister to death in Aleshtar, northern Lorestan Province in Iran. Razieh Hassanvand, 20, was the mother of one child. She died on Oct 12 after several days in hospital. 

In another horrific incident, Trotskeh Abdollahzadeh, 21, the mother of two children, was brutalized and hanged by her father, father-in-law, and husband. Trotskeh Abdollahzadeh lived in Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. Trotskeh had been forced into marriage at an early age. She had her first child at the age of 13. https://tinyurl.com/4taxfusm On Friday Oct. 13, Ava Yargholi, a first grader, while asleep was beheaded by her father in the city of Hidaj, Zanjan Province in Iran. Her father, 32, was ostensibly under the influence of crack when he cut her daughter's head off. Ava Yargholi's parent are divorced and her mother was financially and morally qualified to take custody of her child. However, according to the misogynistic laws of the Iranian regime, Ava was placed in the custody of her addicted father. The constitution of the Iranian regime considers the father and male paternal ancestors as "vali dam" who have the right to do what they see fit.
