On Wednesday morning Nov. 15 a Baluch woman, identified as Zar-Khatoun MazarZehi, was hanged along with two men in the Central Prison of Kerman in Iran. Zar-Khatoun, 46, was the mother of a young girl and came from Saravan, a city in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province. She was arrested six years ago on the road from Kerman to Shiraz, and sentenced to death on drug-related charges. Zar-Khatoun is the 19th woman executed in Iran in the last ten and a half months and the 222nd woman executed since 2007 based on the data compiled by the Women’s Committee of NCRI. https://tinyurl.com/468d9f96

The agents of the Intelligence Department of Bukan, Kurdistan of Iran, arrested Esrin Mohammadi on Wednesday, November 15, inside a shop that was printing banners for the memorial ceremony of her brother Shahriar Mohammadi 29 who was killed by the security forces during protest on Nov 18, 2022. According to Milad, Esrin's other brother, 17 agents of the Intelligence Department, including two women, arrested Esrin inside a print shop in Bukan. Security and intelligence forces violently arrested Mahnaz Tarrah, on Monday morning, November 13. Mahnaz was accompanying her friend to the doctor’s office when they were attacked by security and intelligence forces, viciously brutalized, and insulted. Ms. Tarrah was taken to the 3rd Branch of the Evin Courthouse. Mahnaz Tarrah was arrested in January 2023 during Iran protests and released in February. Her friend, Mr. Farzin Rezaii Roshan, a former political prisoner, was injured during the attack and suffered a fractured skull and his clothes were covered in blood. Shaqayeq Moradi was also arrested in Tehran after security forces broke into her residence on Sunday night, November 12. They ransacked her house and confiscated some of her personal belongings. Security forces arrested Zahra Saeedianju on the eve of the anniversary of her brother’s murder Milad, during the 2022 Iran protests. Zahra Saeedianju is seeking justice for her brother. Only three days before his anniversary, she was arrested again on Monday night, November 13, during a raid by security forces on her residence in Izeh, Khuzestan Province. Manijeh Moazzen, a journalist and a translator from Kerman-Iran, has been detained in limbo since Security forces arrested her on Wednesday, November 8, at her workplace. Prior to that, they ransacked her residence in Tehran and confiscated some of her personal belongings. Manijeh is a journalist and a translator who cooperated with ecoiran.com and tejaratefarda.com weekly publication. The Iranian regime's Intelligence agents arrested Mahsa BasirTavana at 8 AM on Sunday, November 12. She was summoned by the Rasht capital of Gilan province. Mahsa BasirTavana, mother of two, is the sister of Mehran BasirTavana, 29, who was shot and killed by security forces during Iran protests in Some’e Sara on November 16, 2022. In the meantime, there are concerns about the well-being of a young woman arrested in Shahin Dezh, in West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. Intelligence agents arrested Mitra Javadi on October 27, in the city of Shahin Dezh and transferred her to an undisclosed location.
