The Iranian regime's Intelligence Fabricated Charges Against Kurdish Activists, Pakhshan Azizi and Varisha Moradi. The state-run ROKNA news reported on November 9, of the destruction of a team of “terrorist PEJAK group” and the arrest of three of its senior members. “Having undertaken intelligence measures, the intelligence agencies arrested three senior members of the PEJAK terrorist group, in a surprise operation, and handed them over to the judicial authorities.

Varisha Moradi, a Kurdish women’s rights activist and a member of the East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR), was kidnapped by agents of the Intelligence Ministry on the road from Marivan to Sanandaj, on August 1. She has not had any contact with her family. https://tinyurl.com/bdbta78u

Labor activist Reyhaneh Ansarinejad was imprisoned in Evin Prison on Monday, November 6. Security forces arrested and detained her after summoning her to a branch of the Implementation of Verdicts Office. The Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced Ms. Reyhaneh Ansarinejad to 4 years in prison on the charge of “assembly and collusion to act against the security of the state.” The court informed Reyhaneh Anasarinejad of the verdict and additional punishments, banning her membership in parties, groups, political organizations, activities in cyberspace, media, and press, and leaving the country for two years. https://tinyurl.com/2ry3brr3

Three cases of femicide in Mashhad, Shiraz, and Zabol in Iran were found. The body of a young woman was found in Bahar village of Mashhad after two weeks. Hadis Eslami, 26, was a camerawoman from Mashhad who shot films for wedding ceremonies. Her mother and husband had reported her missing since October 21. Hadis's body was found near her husband’s garden on Friday evening, November 3, according to the state-run media and newspapers, including the official IRNA news agency. Hadis’s husband had shot her in the head.

In another horrific incident, a 46 year old man murdered his wife 36 and his 8 year old daughter in Shiraz the capital of the southern Fars Province in Iran. The state-run news agency ILNA reported on Tuesday, November 7, that the man was arrested.

In yet another incident in Zabol, in Iran's southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province, a man shot his 16-year-old wife on the street. Although she was taken to the hospital immediately, she lost her life due to the severity of her wound. https://tinyurl.com/4xnr98kx
