The two journalists Niloufar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi who were released on bail on Jan. 14, are charged by the Tehran Prosecutor's office with Uncovering their hair, when walking out of Evin prison in Iran. Niloufar Hamedi, a photojournalist for Shargh newspaper, took and published the first photo of Mahsa Amini in a coma at the hospital. Two teachers, Fatemeh Tadrisi and Maryam Jalal Hosseini, have been sentenced to six years in prison and two years of internal exile by the Revolutionary Court of Karaj-Iran. They are charged with “inciting people to disrupt security,” disseminating “propaganda against the state,” insulting Khamenei, and “forming groups to disrupt security. ”After being arrested during a teachers’ protest in Tehran on May 9, 2023, they were temporarily released on bail.
