At the major rally by thousands of Iranian supporters of the Iranian resistance in New York which was held on Tuesday and Wed, Sept. 23 and 24, former US senator Sam Brownback among other Amercian personalities spoke. He described the Iranian regime as “a terrorist regime, a nuclear weapon-seeking regime, a regime of slavery and shortages,” adding that it has delivered “nothing but misery for the people of Iran” in 45 years. He said what most terrifies the rulers in Tehran is their own people: “Why is the regime more scared of its own people than of Israel? Because they know the people don’t support the regime.” “It’s time to push into victory. Push into victory. We’re there,” he said, recalling the late Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman as champions of the cause. Most major media, newspaper, and tv reflected the FreeIran rally in New York. It's worth mentioning that New York rally was the 2nd such huge rallies that the Iranian resistance had held. Political prisoner Somayeh Rashidi, who was held in the notorious Qarchak Prison, died on Thursday Sept. 25,  after several days in a coma at Mofatteh Hospital in Varamin in Iran. The judiciary-affiliated news agency Mizan has confirmed her death. Somayeh was 42 years old and suffered from epilepsy for many years. According to her cellmates, she repeatedly sought medical help for seizures and severe headaches but Prison doctors, dismissed her condition as “malingering” and returned her to the ward. On the other hand concerns about the health of another political prisoner has increasd. Maryam Akbari Monfared who's been in prison for more than 15 years still suffers from chronic back and knee pain which the prison authorities ignore. She is required to have surgery but the authorities refuse to facilitate her treatment. Maryam was arrested 2009 for asking about her sister and 3 brother's burial. They were executed in the 1980's in Iran. Also Zeinab Jalalian who is serving life sentence in Yazd Central Prison is suffering from deteriorating health and systematic denila of medial treatment. She's on the verge of loosing her eye sight and battles other illments. The Iranian regime systematically deprives political prisoners of medical treatment. https://tinyurl.com/yazzxx3n

Mahnaz Dehghani was executed on Sept. 24, in Adelabad prison in Shiraz-Iran while Masoud Pezeshkian was giving his speech in UN General assambly talking about human rights. Since July of 2025, some 13 women have been hanged in Iran. https://tinyurl.com/ym6y928d
