Political prisoner Fatemeh Mosanna is surviving on intravenous (IV) injection. Fatemeh Mosanna, 53, the mother of two children, has been in prison for seven years. Her health is in dire condition, and her life is in danger. Fatemeh Mosanna is presently suffering from enteric fever, and her intestines cannot absorb food. Two serum bags are injected into her daily, and she is either hospitalized or on the way to the hospital. The doctors’ diagnosis is that Fatemeh Mosanna should not be under stress, and she cannot bear the prison conditions. She has gone unconscious several times due to severe pain. Doctors repeatedly increased her medication dosage and declared that her treatment in prison would not be useful because she should not be stressed. Fatemeh was a political prisoner in 1981 and was detained for two years when she was only 13 years old. The Revolutionary Court of Karaj sentenced Fatemeh Harbi to five years of imprisonment and two years of exile. Sharia Judge Asef Al-Hosseini, known as “the Death Judge,” sentenced Fatemeh Harbi to five years of prison time and two years of exile on January 12, 2023. The verdict was communicated to her orally, not officially. For this reason, her family cannot appeal the case. Fatemeh Harbi, 38, and mother of two children, 17 and 8 years old, is a visitor of a cosmetic company. 2 sisters, Reyhaneh and Ghazal Pakzad, were arrested and were taken to an undisclosed location. Ghazal is a 30-year-old clothing designer. She has been detained on charges of activity in cyberspace and publishing posts in support of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people. Reyhaneh, a women’s swimming coach, was arrested at her home on January 3, by IRGC intelligence forces and taken to an unknown location. Mahtab Ansarian 19, Mahshid Zahedpasand 19, and Mina Afshari 23 are among the young women detained during the recent Iran uprising.
