A Labor activist Nahid Khodajoo was transferred to Evin prison in Iran to serve her five-year sentence. She is a retired worker who lives in Tehran. On Wednesday, February 21, she was arrested by security forces at one of her friend's house in Fardis Karaj in Tehran. Branch 26 of the Iranian regime's  Revolutionary Court sentenced Nahid Khodajoo to 6 years in prison and 74 lashes on charges of "assembly and collusion to act against national security" and "disturbing public order and peace" on October 10, 2019. The sentence was upheld by the Revision Court and the longest duration of imprisonment, i.e. 5 years in this case, is enforceable.

In another development, the order for the expulsion of a Teachers’ Union Activist, Sara Siahpour, in Iran was upheld. On Tuesday, February 20, the Coordination Council of the Union of Iranian Educators announced that the Appeals Department of the Violations Board of the Ministry of Education has approved the dismissal of Sara Siahpour, one of the teachers active in Tehran and Alborz provinces with 17 years of teaching experience. In July 2023, a Judiciary Revision Court upheld the sentence of 6 years in prison for Mrs. Siahpour on the charges of "assembly and collusion against national security" and "propaganda against the state." She's also has been banned from leaving the country for two years and from being a member of political parties, groups and organizations, and from using the cyberspace for two years. http://tinyurl.com/my2fdnku

Three political prisoners affiliated with the Opposition PMOI, (People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran)namely Arghavan Fallahi, Parvin Mirasan 66 years old, and Nasim Gholami Simiyari 35, are detained for months in a state of limbo at the women’s ward of Evin Prison.
